Hummus, veggies and feta in every bite makes this Greek Hummus Plate the perfect party appetizer or afternoon snack.

Hi Friends!

Time for another second look recipe. I first published this recipe — and I use that term loosely– way back in May 2012. I made it again recently and decided it could use some new photos.

This Greek Hummus Plate is the perfect party appetizer but it also makes a great afternoon snack!

Does it look good? Be sure to pin it so you remember to try it out later. Or make it immediately. Both good options!

That’s all there is to it. If you like olives, feel free to add those in as well!

Use your favorite recipe to make some homemade hummus or grab some at the store if you’re in a pinch! Top with balsamic vinegar before serving if you want to!

I cannot put out an appetizer spread without some form of hummus, and this one looks great. I also like to cut up cucumbers, plop some hummus on each bite and sprinkle with some Lawry’s salt. 🙂 Always a crowd pleaser. Have a great night, Lindsay!

yummy! This looks delish! That’s so smart to add the colorful veggies on top, because while hummus is delicious, the color leaves something to be desired… haha. I love the cilantro jalapeno hummus from Trader Joes!! This post reminds me I need to buy some!

I actually make a pretty darn good hummus from just the chickpeas, garlic, and lemon (plus a few odds and ends as I am feeling). But recently I tried Cedars Beet and Scallion hummus, and that was amazing! Also, giardineria and hummus mixed is incredible

One of my favorite hummus dips is very similar! Mine has a layer of cream cheese-Greek yogurt mixture on the bottom. I like that you used red bell pepper and balsamic on yours. Yum!

When I was 22 I spent a summer in Greece– one of my fondest memories was eating the hummus, yogurt with honey, and greek salads. My life in food… I love to recreate experiences, this reminds me of that. Sunset in Santorini anyone?

I was in Greece last week (and am eating my way through Italy right now 😉 ), and I was SHOCKED that I was never served an ounce of hummus. Yogurt, sure, but no hummus in sight. Really makes me think that we have perhaps Americanized Greek food much like Chinese food! Or that hummus is more of a summer thing there.

I’ve been craving Mediterranean hummus bowls and had to try this when I saw you share it the other day. It has been the best quuck and easy lunch the past couple of days, and has definitely fed my craving. I was surprised how flavorful it is, even without a dressing. It was so easy to make! I’m looking forward to trying more of your recipes!
