Hi Friends!
Time for another Foodie Penpals Reveal Day!
This month, I received my box from Laura at Catching My Breath! Look at all the goodies she sent me:
Let’s break it down shall we:
1. Farro: one of my favorite grains!!
2. Muesli Fusion: I got to try this stuff at Blend Retreat and it’s fabulous!
3. I heart keenwah: A fun new snack I hadn’t tried before
4. Risotto and Dirty rice from a local business- so fun!
5. Chocolate: enough said 🙂
Thanks Laura for a fabulous box! I love it!!
And now it’s time for some details about Foodie Penpals. In case you’re a new reader, here’s a reminder of what the program is all about:
-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you are to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month.
-Foodie Penplas is open to US, Canadian & European residents. Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. Same with Europeans. We’ve determined things might get too slow and backed up if we’re trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa.
If you’re from the US or Canada and are in participating for September, please CLICK HERE to fill out the participation form and read the terms and conditions.
You must submit your information by September 4th as pairings will be emailed on September 5th!

This is such a fun idea. I need to try the Keenwah snacks!
OOh that chocolate looks good!
Thanks for the link up and for this program!
Ooooo great box-o-stuff! I could go for some chocolate… 😉
yay! can’t wait to join the fun this month 🙂
muesli fusion?!?! that alone makes it an AWESOME box!!
Ooh, farro… I need to pick some up again. Looks like some delicious goodies. Have a great long weekend, Lindsay!
I still need to try farro! The risotto and dirty rice also sound awesome. Looks like a great box!
I’m so bummed by this, maybe I just have bad luck. 🙁 I did this twice, the first time I received food in the mail that was months old past expiration and stale.. and the 2nd time (this month) I received no box. Stinks when you put so much hard work into a box for someone else, at least I hopefully caused some smiles!
Hope everyone enjoys their box of goodies!
I really need to try farrow. I’m always afraid to try out new grains, I’m not sure why though!
it’s one of my favs!
This is such a fun idea, I can’t wait to be apart of it this coming month 🙂
Looks like you had an awesome package! Thanks again for hosting this, I always love getting to know my FPPs!
Wow, you got an awesome box of stuff! The Museli Fusion looks delish!
That’s an awesome box! : )
So many delicious foods again 🙂
There are slowly but surely some more Australian HLB bloggers starting to surface so I’m hoping that eventually we will have enough to be able to participate too.
I’m glad you enjoyed Laura’s things. It was funny, at the beginning of the month she sent me a text and said you’ll never guess who my foodie pen pal is! HA. Have a great weekend Lindsay!
haha so funny 🙂
Is there a reason this is “September” FPP instead of “August”? I always assume it’s the month that we get or send the packages in.
just a typo
