Hi Friends!

It’s friday again…time for another Fitness Friday!

fitnessfriday

Let’s recap my workouts for the week, shall we?!

Friday
I took advantage of the sunny weather since it’s literally rained every weekend for the past month, and headed out for a nice long walk. I left the dogs at home, grabbed my headphones and covered 5.75 miles. It was glorious!

Saturday
I did my 3 in 30 treadmill workout. It’s simple- just running a set of intervals that allows you to cover 3 miles in 30 minutes. It looks like this:

Sunday
Rest day

Monday
First day truly testing out my treadmill laptop stand! I covered 3 miles while working and walking and that’s about all I did because it was Foodie Penpals reveal day and let’s be honest, it totally takes over my life 🙂

Tuesday
I did a 2 mile work and walk in the morning and then did this upper body tabata. I channeled my inner Jess while doing this one because it reminded me a lot of the workouts she puts together. It looked like this:

And let me just say, I was sore for 2 days. The pushups killed me. I need to work on those.

Wednesday
2 mile work and walk and then spent the rest of the day in captivity, a slave to my to-do list in an effort to get things done before heading out of town. I did fit in a quick ab workout before I went to bed though:

Thursday
2 mile work and walk (fun fact: I used that time to write this post!) and then I tested out a workout I put together for a guest post I’m doing for Laura in a few weeks and omg it was a ROUGH! It’s all about pushing yourself HARD…and it involves burpees. That’s all I can say 🙂

Your turn! Tell me about the best workout you did this week!

Have a great weekend!

I love the 3 in 30 workout! Changing the speed regularly makes the time go by so much faster on the treadmill! Pinned!

I love your three in thirty idea!! Fantastic.
Lately I’ve been hooked on Jillian Michael’s and Fit TV. I do some quick arm and ab workouts, and then Jillian’s Buns and Thighs or Ripped in Thirty. Oh, and the spinner of course!

I love the idea of the ‘work & walk’! I want a treadmill desk at work so bad, I even told me boss to take the money out of my paycheck over a course of time so that I can have one! haha I am obsessed! We will see if I can convince them.. 🙂

Awesome workouts! I wish I could run long distances. And I’ve tried to build up to it but it’s just not for me! I do some interval training on my treadmill but only about once a week. I love lifting weights though, I get my workout through P90X/Insanity/Fit TV/Supersets for the most part.
P.S My mom wants my Dad to build her a laptop stand for the treadmill once I showed her yours hahah.

Nice work on all those workouts! My fave was actually what I did this morning. All 3 levels of Jillian Michael’s 30 day shred. My arms are already killing me so I can imagine what I feel like tomorrow…my butt was seriously kicked.

I’d never heard of a tabata workout before. Looks super intense! Nicely done.

I love the look of that upper body tabata. I love tabatas! That is totally awesome that your treadmill stand is getting put to good use.

My killer workout this week was ZWOW #15. Then I attempted pistols for practice.
