Hi Friends!
It’s time for another Foodie Penpals Reveal Day!
This month we did something a little different with Foodie Penpals to celebarte the 2 year anniversary. Instead of sending to one person and receiving from someone different, I matched everyone up directly and we sent to and received from the same person!
My match was Joanna at Making Mine. Her blog was new to me and I loved getting the chance to know her a little better! Plus she sent me an amazing box!
Here’s what was inside:
- Cake batter puppy chow! Holy amazing
- Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies- my weakness. I LOVE homemade cookies!
- Homemade spicy salsa! Soo good.
- Kodiak Cakes- I’ve been wanting to try these forever!
- Cupcake liners- adorable and you can never have too many
I’m head over heels in love with my package this month! Thank you Joanna!!!!

And now it’s time for some details about Foodie Penpals. In case you’re a new reader, here’s a reminder of what the program is all about:
-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written.
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers.
-Foodie Penplas is open to US, Canadian & European residents. Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. Same with Europeans.
If you’re from the US or Canada and are in participating for October, please CLICK HERE to fill out the participation form and read the terms and conditions.
You must submit your information by October 4th as pairings will be emailed on October 5th!

I love the new matching this month! It’s so much nicer (and easier) to keep up with the emails and everything! Looks like you got a pretty stellar package…totally jealous of the puppy chow! And I just got some of the Kodiak mix to review for the blog! I made some waffles yesterday and they came out great!

I had so much fun participating in Foodie Penpals this past month- thank you for the opportunity! I exchanged from a wonderful blog reader who read my mind and gave me an Asian themed package centered around a recipe! What a fun way to get us to meet each other – thanks again!!

This was my first month and it was a lot of fun as I was in Canada (Niagara Falls) right around the time I was assigned my penpal so I was able to pick up a few special treats for her while I was there. Your box looks amazing, as does everyones!

Hi, I follow this blog and love the idea of the foodie pen pals. Unfortunately I can’t join in as where I am based (in the Middle East) at the moment doesn’t allow any foodstuffs through the post 🙁 I will continue to enjoy the blog and everyone’s foodie pen pal packages and hope to be able to join in sometime in the future. Keep up the good work, it’s brilliant 🙂
