A delicious healthy snack.

Try these Baked Apple Chips for a healthy, kid-friendly after school snack!

A lot of people sprinkle these with sugar.
Not necessary. They will be naturally sweet.

My mom used to make these! She used a little nutmeg too. We’d go to the mountains and come back with a trunk full of apples. To this day they are the only dried fruit I’ll eat, and only if they’re homemade.

I love dried fruit but do not have a dehydrator and it is difficult to find the packaged kind without added sugar!

I love naturally sweet snacks! These looks fabulous for grab-and-go. I’ve seen these made in the dehydrator a lot so it’s nice to know that you can make them in a good old oven!

I agree! No sugar needed! My daughter and I love these apple chips. Our favorite dried fruit, though, is dried mango. We can never leave Trader Joe’s without some.

My favourite dried fruits are pineapples and ginger but you can’t get those without sugar.

Will try this recipe for sure. I have been looking for a good quality mandolin forever.
