An easy, homemade version store-bought Wheat Thins!

**Pictures updated 2/2015**

Over the weekend I made a batch of Homemade Wheat Thins thanks to a deliciously simple recipe from Two Peas and Their Pod. They were simple to make and taste even better than store-bought! If you’re a cracker lover like me, give them a try!

These easy, homemade Wheat Thins taste even better than store bought!

What’s your favorite cracker? Have you ever tried to make it at home?

Enjoy, my friends!

These sound delicious because who doesn’t love Wheat Thins?! One question though… what is a pastry blender?

Is it one of those things that looks like three rounded half-moon herb slicers with a handle?

“Pastry blender” = “fork” or “fingers” in my mind. 🙂

Wow—they look awesome! I’d only be concerned that I’d eat them all at once 🙂

I miss wheat thins (and other things like that) sometimes…I used to love them, but now I would not touch that stuff. Thanks for this idea!

Wow! I LOOOOOOOVE Wheat Thins (ate some yesterday in fact), especially with pimiento cheese. [My mouth is watering…] I am VERY impressed by your results! I tried to make crackers once and it was an EPIC EPIC fail. My friend made some using a pasta roller/machine to make them super flat. Maybe with your recipe and that idea combined I could do it.

These look perfect! I also used to be a wheat thin fanatic! I bet these would also be perfect with other flavors worked in – possibly even cinnamon and sugar for a sweet version!

i used to looooooove wheat thins! i haven’t had them in a really long time though. these look great!

my favorite crackers were always cheeze-its (surprise surprise!). a while ago i made cheddar crackers from eat live run – they were close, but not the same…

oooh cheez-its. i always preferred goldfish to cheez-its and i do, in fact, have a goldfish recipe bookmarked as well. perhaps i’ll just bake my way through all the crackers 🙂

The girls and the PopPop can eat a whole box of Wheat Thins in minutes. Unfortunately they are rather cost prohibitive. How wonderful that I can make them so easily and frugally.

you can totally do it! the hardest part is moving all the squares from the counter to the baking sheet 🙂 i’m making another batch this weekend and cutting out 1 tbsp butter and 1/2 tbsp sugar to see if they turn out still edible. AND i’m using Sarah’s brilliant idea to use my pasta maker to roll the dough so it’s all even thickness!
