Hi Friends!

Have you finished your shopping? Wrapped your presents? We’re a little behind this year but I still thought we were pretty much done, until last night! As I was making my list and checking it twice, I realized…Whoops! We forgot someone. With only 2 days until Christmas, and a little baby in the house, our chances to run out and get a last minute gift are limited. So what’s a girl to do?

Turn to food, of course! I rounded up 5 delicious homemade gift ideas you can put together quickly if you find yourself in my situation. All of them can be made in 30 minutes or less and 4 of them are no-bake!

Need a last minute gift idea? Here are 5 healthy, homemade gift ideas that can be made in 30 minutes or less. Bonus - Several of them are no bake!

You can find the recipe links below:

1.No Bake Protein Bars

2. Sweet & Spicy Almonds

3. Healthier Puppy Chow

4. Salt-Free Seasoning Mix

Having made your no bake protein bars before, they are an epic gift…to yourself. I’m fortunate to be up to date with batches of granola and some nuts!

Great ideas Lindsay! I have been intending to make homemade gifts, but somehow I ended up finishing all my christmas shopping early this year! These will be so helpful though, and who says we can’t use them the rest of the year as grateful gifts? 🙂

I never thought about whipping something up like that for the holidays. Thanks for sharing Lindsay. I am still at a loss for what to get my father.

I would love to get any of these gifts! I have one more trip to the bookstore today and then I’m done. Wrapping, on the other hand…there will be lots of wine the next two nights. 😉

This year I really wanted to make everyone a homemade gift… but then I realized I was too lazy for that 🙂 Love your ideas. Those sweet and spicy almonds especially look like an awesome gift.

great ideas! I’m not a big DIY person, but I’m always ready to cook/bake for people ;). I did do a three-ingredient homemade body butter this year for gifts — easy and leaves skin so soft!

Mm… Puppy chow! Kudos to you for doing all this stuff with a new baby! You’re amazing!

My hubby and I did homemade vanilla extract and granola for our friends and coworkers this year… Luckily we have 13457533 Mason jars on hand at any given time.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!.

I’m heading over to check out that healthier puppy chow recipe right now. I am a sucker for puppy chow, but it is SO addicting. A healthier version would be great!

I love to give and receive homemade gifts! When someone takes the time, effort and puts love into creating something, I feel that is the ultimate expression of the season. These are wonderful choices that my friends and family would devour!

These are all great ideas!!! I just stole some recipes from my favourite Purely Twins bloggers, and made some super healthy holiday goodness I can give away in nice little wrapped containers instead of buying gifts. I feel like Christmas has become so commercialized and it’s lost the entire spirit of giving, and being with family and become a race and contest to see who can give the best gift for the year. It’s nice to see people connecting with homemade alternatives to department store fluff.

Ermagoodness, I am going to make the no bake protein bars for myself. There’s nothing under the tree for me (Hubs and I don’t buy for each other) so I need a present!
