I spent most of the week in the hospital getting IV antibiotics and trying to clear up an infection that I have from a couple of breast abscesses. My parents came into town to take care of the baby, which we’re so grateful for. Hubby was able to spend time with me at the hospital and Chase was happy at home.
They sent me lots of pictures and we face-timed a lot.
Hubby successfully took baby to his doctor’s appointment. He face-timed me in so I could hear what the doctor had to say and ask questions! He got three shots and did great. He’s a growing boy. He’s in the 98th percentile for height- 24 1/4 inches and 95th percentile for weight – 13 pounds, 6 ounces at 6 weeks old.
I was finally discharged on Saturday and I was SO happy to get home to my baby. Still not feeling great but going back to the doctor today to follow-up and I’m on IV antibiotics at home for 3 more weeks.
Isn’t he the cutest?
