Scenes from the Weekend

I was sick. I’ve been sick for the past 2 weeks. I finally went to the doctor.
Double ear infection with sinus inflammation & drainage.
I crawled into bed Friday around lunch time…
And didn’t really leave until Sunday. Seriously.
The boys kept me company.
I watched 12 episodes of Prison Break
I finished one book and started another.
I made a makeshift desk and did school work.
I made a huge pot of veggie noodle soup with chickpeas…
And I ate it 5 times in 3 days.
At least it’s healthy.

Oh, and while I was sick and miserable?
Hubby was in California for work…
Playing golf at Pebble Beach!

He’s kind of a big deal :)
But boy am I glad he’s home.

PS.. That pic was taken right after he birdied the 5th hole!

  1. Hi Lindsay! Thanks for all the cool links! Love the Lady Gaga story and how she’s handling it. It must be so hard to have people constantly criticizing you and how you look….I guess that’s the trade-off for fame and money. Also love the chocolate raspberry yogurt cups! I must make those!! :-)
