Gluten-Free Sweet Potato Brownies

A flourless brownie made with real, simple ingredient.




  1. Put the dates, sweet potato and nut butter in a food processor (or high-powered blender) and process until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs and applesauce and process until mixed.
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder and baking soda and pulse until combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spoon into a greased 9×9 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in comes out clean.
  6. Optional frosting: When cooled, top with nut butter, melt nut butter and more chocolate chips in the microwave, stir to combine and spread over brownies or top with your favorite frosting
