Beer Braised Pulled Pork

Slow cooked in dark beer, this pulled pork is juicy and full of flavor!


  • 4.55 pound Pork Shoulder Boston Roast (bone in or boneless)
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 112 oz bottle dark beer (I used Sierra Nevada Porter)


  1. Place peppers and onions in a dutch oven.
  2. Add pork shoulder.
  3. Pour beer over top.
  4. Cover and place in the oven.
  5. Bake at 275 degrees F for 4-5 hours until meat is tender enough to easily shred with fork.
  6. Shred and remove bone if necessary.
