You only need one pan to make this recipe for Skillet Spaghetti and Meatballs because the spaghetti cooks right in the sauce! Your weeknight dinner just got even easier!

Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken or turkey
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
25 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups water
4 ounces uncooked spaghetti noodles
optional: grated parmesan and fresh herbs for topping
Instructions
Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl and mix until just combined.
Form into 14-16 meatballs.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear meatballs, rotating every minute.
Add sauce to pan. Fill jar 2/3 full with water. Shake the jar and add liquid to the pan. (If you’re using homemade sauce, just add 2 cups water).
Clear space in the middle of the pan between the meatballs. Break noodles in half and add to the pan. Cover and let simmer for 8 minutes.
Stir, cover and cook 8-10 minutes more or until pasta reaches desired doneness.
