This Dinner Roll French Toast Bake is the perfect recipe to use up leftover dinner rolls after a holiday meal. Prep the night before, let it sit in the fridge overnight and enjoy it for breakfast in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 12 dinner rolls (or approx 10 cups cubed rolls/bread)
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen berries
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • brown sugar for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cube rolls and place in a well-greased 9×13 pan.
  2. Add berries.
  3. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon with a whisk.
  4. Pour over bread mixture in pan.
  5. Use your hands to make sure all the bread gets covered with the egg mixture.
  6. Cover with saran wrap and place in the fridge overnight (if desired).
  7. Sprinkle top with brown sugar if desired.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min – 1 hour depending on desired degree of doneness.
