Sweat 2 Street

Hi Friends!

Just popping in today to do something a little different! A few of my Fitfluential friends started a fun little Sunday tradition called Sweat 2 Street to give us a chance to show off some of the gear we wear to get sweaty and some things we wear when we’re not working out!

If you’re looking for more posts, check out some of the ringleaders: Emily, Charlotte, Samantha, Erika & Tenicia.

Sweat to Street has been created as a place to link up your favorite outfits of the week as a new Sunday blog feature. The idea is to have some fun and change it up!Each week we encourage you to post one workout outfit and one outfit you wore that isn’t fitness related.

So,  let’s be honest, I basically live in workout clothes. But, I did get dressed up a few times while my parents were in town last weekend so I thought this would be a good week to jump in and participate at least once :)

Ready? OK!

Top: One Clothing via Von Maur
{I call it my mullet shirt- business in the front, party in the back!}
Jeans: Black Always Skinny Jeans via Gap

Shoes: Reebok via some obscure website that had a sale- similar to these
Shorts: Under Armour via my mom-for Christmas :)- similar to these
Sports Bra: Marika via Marshalls
So there you have it! My birthday is coming up (*cough* April 15th *cough*) and I’m in the market for some new workout tops. I’ve always worked out in cotton tshirts and they’re just not cutting it anymore! Suggestions?! I like tank tops.
Happy Sunday Friends!

  1. My husbands birthday is April 15th! He’s not much older than you!!(*cough*…*cough*) But seriously…it’s a big year for him, trying to come up with a special way to celebrate. My mind is blank… I like the Sweat 2 Street idea, what fun!

  2. Hot stuff! Love the pics my dear! Especially the “mullet” top, hehe. You are a riot! Your post reminds me that I NEED to invest in better/newer sports bras. The one I wore the other day gave me major chafe issues because it’s basically lost all elasticity. Ouch! Time for some new ones!!

  5. You know whose tank tops I like the best? Old navy! And they sell many in the tall sizes online. Their short sleeve wicking shirts suck (I like nike dri fit) but their tank tops are awesome! I have quite a few I wear in the summers!

    • Yes – Under Armor tanks are great. I’ve found good deals at the UA outlet and at Sports Authority. I love that they are long which are perfect for my long torso!

  11. Love this idea, my sweat to street outfits are completely different. The best workout tops are lululemon! I know they are expensive but they last the longest I think and fit the best on me! It looks like under armour is coming out with some decent stuff though

  17. nike tank tops are nice, and are long on me so i bet they’d work well for you! i also have a lot of target tank tops for running (dry fit style), and have a couple of north face tank tops that i also love! i think at least one of my north face tank tops is from tj maxx, so that’s a good place to try! that or marshalls.

  21. Adorable shirt! Definitely very in style right now! I’ve officially decided I need to hop in the Sweat to Street bandwagon! As for workout tanks, Marshall’s and TJ Maxx has good/inexpensive ones. I have a hard time forking out tons of money for things I’m going to sweat in. WISH I could even consider affording Lululemon though!
