First things first…I’m looking for some guest bloggers. If you’re interested in writing a food post/recipe post/healthy eating/living post, send me an email at theleangreenbean@gmail.com and i’ll give you more details!

Now for the more exciting stuff! If you’ve been reading long, you know that I’m pretty big of fan of Greek yogurt. I love dipping fruit in it and eating it for lunch. I love using it in baked goods and topping my oatmeal with it. I love that it’s a good source of protein…you get the idea
So when Kelsey @ Stonyfield Farms contacted me with an opportunity to try their newest Oikos Greek Yogurt Flavor- Super Fruits, with raspberry, pomegranate & acai, I jumped at the chance!
I ran into a little snag when I went to the grocery store and there was only one container of the Super Fruits flavor left! It’s apparently quite popular
Not to worry though…I snagged the last cup and then used the rest of my coupons to try out some of the other flavors since I am an Oikos newbie. I bought Vanilla, Plain, Super Fruits and Strawberry.
Here’s how Oikos describes the new Super Fruits flavor:
“The pomegranate is an ancient fruit commonly found in Greek mythology, and today it’s celebrated around the world for the sweet and slightly tart juice found in the edible part of the fruit. Staying true to its authentic Greek yogurt recipe, Oikos Organic combines the best part of the pomegranate with sweet raspberries and exotic acaí to create a creamy, refreshingly healthy treat in a convenient 5.3 ounce cup.”
I used the vanilla flavor in my post-gym smoothie and loved the flavor boost it added without the vanilla being totally overpowering!
Next, I tried the Super Fruits flavor. I ate several spoonfuls alone so I could get the true taste, and I loved it! Oikos is not as thick as some of the other Greek yogurts that I’ve tried, which I personally like. It makes it taste more like regular yogurt, which I sometimes miss. I loved the combination of pomegranate and raspberry flavors. Truthfully, I’m not really sure what acai tastes like…but it must be good if it was in this! I used the rest of the container on top of my oatmeal pancakes and enjoyed every last bite!
I used the plain carton to make some cookies tonight!
And now, on to the giveaway…

I haven’t heard of these flavors! I can’t wait to try them (I will be on the lookout tomorrow). I’m a huge greek yogurt fan. Since pregnancy has increased my demand for protein, I’ve been eating a plain greek yogurt every day with a little maple syrup. Simple & delicious!
