Love Bomb #1

You know what makes my day instantly better, no matter what?

Getting a package. Even a beat up, squished package!!

You know what makes that package even better? When it’s from one of the best companies ever…that still knows the meaning of a handwritten note.

And stuffs their packages so full of LOVE that they’re almost overflowing.

Yeah that makes me happy :)

And you know what I feel like doing when I’m happy? Spreadin’ the love

That’s right. I spread the love to myself….in the form of lunch:

I spread the love to my fridge: with these amazing magnets:

Even the boys wanted in on the love!

I spread the love to my co-workers: In the form of a big batch of my favorite Granola Cookies, baked fresh right before work!

And I spread the love to you guys!

Wanna win? 3 bags of Love Grown Foods granola are up for grabs. All you have to do is leave a comment telling me one thing you’ve done today to spread some love to someone else!

That’s it! We’re keepin’ this one simple. No extra entries….just you and your acts of love :)

Today’s Workout: Another late night workout. I was in the mood for the treadmill but not just running. I came upon this workout from Jillian at Sprinkle Massacre just before I went downstairs and decided to use it as my starting point. Basically I did the first half and then decided I didn’t like the slower speed/higher incline combo so I reversed the workout and went back down the pyramid and then added a few min at the end.

Mine looked like this:

I finished 3 miles in 32:50.

To be honest, this was easy for me. It works out to about an 11 min/mile pace, which explains why…but my legs were feeling good. I felt like I could have run forever at this pace. If I wanted to challenge myself I would need to up the speeds, but this was a great workout for tonight. Exactly what I needed- just to get moving, sweat some but not totally kill myself. WIN!

  26. MMMM absolutely love Love Grown. Just had some actually. Today i remembered to not think of just myself and my crummy day, but rather remember to ask about how something was going in a friend’s life. She was thankful that someone asked and remembered. Sounds simple, but sometimes you really have to stop and ask how someone is and truly mean it.
