Happy Friday, my friends! First things first.
1) If you look to the left of your screen, you’ll see some changes have been made to the blog. First of all, it’s now three columns instead of two. I recently was approved as a Foodbuzz Featured Publisher! It’s been one of my goals since I started the blog and I’m so excited that it’s finally worked out.
2) I’m slightly computer challenged. I’m doing my best to try to learn all of this coding and widget stuff to make my blog look presentable again. It might take some time…so please hang with me! The main problem is that the size of the middle column has changed and now all of my picture layouts are messed up 🙁 Like I said, I’m working on it…but i’m not sure if i’ll be able to fix past posts or if i’ll just have to focus on future posts.
Basically what it boils down to is “Please excuse my virtual dust while I reconstruct!” THANK YOU!!

Moving on to food, here’s a few ideas for you this week:
1) Loaded potato
Bake them the night before or stab one a few times with a fork and throw it in the microwave for five minutes. Then, instead of topping it with sour cream, bacon and cheese, try adding some or all of the following toppings: black beans, vegetables, chicken sausage, barley, salsa, cumin and a little cheese!
Although I was already planning to make these, I was happy to see them pop up on a couple of other blogs this week as well! Both Jessica & Erica enjoyed these delightful treats this week. And you may remember we enjoyed them in NYC as well.
2. Grilled Cheese
I mean really, does it get any easier. Some bread, a little butter, some cheese and a little heat…Voila! Bonus points for using homemade bread like I did!
One of my favorite lunchtime treats! So versatile. Use your favorite fruits, you favorite yogurt and even add some oatmeal for an extra punch!
