Hi Friends!
Quick Fitness Friday post for you today.
Ready, go!
Saturday
I finished in 6:04. You increase the weight each round for your squat cleans. I got up to 75 pounds. So round one you did 5 squat cleans and then 3 burpees. Then you add weight, do 4 squat cleans and six burpees, etc…
When we got home hubby did some doggie squats
Sunday
Rest day walk with the buddies. Worst part about the weather warming up? The geese come back.
Monday
I chose to work on technique during this workout. I used 35 pounds and did 7 rounds + 22 reps of round 8. Prior to the WOD we worked on squats for the strength session.
Tuesday
I ended up getting out of class early and was so happy I was able to make it to this workout. I used 75 pounds for my front squats, carried two 36 pound kettlebells for the farmer’s carry and finished in 8:20!
Wednesday
Benchmark day…and I made some MAJOR progress. We did Cindy, and for the first time, I did kipping pullups in a workout!!!!!!! I only did 3 per round instead of 5, but this was the first time i’ve actually done them in a workout. Woot woot!! I did 18 rounds and was left with jello arms.
Thursday was a rest day…and let me tell you, it was needed. I had trouble even straightening my arms.
How was your week of workouts?!
Enjoy!
–Lindsay–
PS. Don’t forget about Sunday Food Prep Inspiration!!!

Awesome job on making such great progress in Crossfit this week! That is truly amazing. It’s so cool when you can see progress like that based on past workout scores (like how crossfit is structured). I always find that so motivating!

WOOO!!! That is awesome! I bet your arms felt like jello after that. Pull ups are by far the hardest upper body exercise in my opinion.

I must say that my week of workouts has been nonexistent.
However, it is because I was stuck in bed Sunday-Thursday with the flu. I think that is the ONLY excuse to not workout.. Next week I am back at CrossFit and ready to #getafterit

I love working out with the pup, he’s a good running partner. Mostly because he drags me and my miles are always faster. I like the Sunday food prep round up idea! We have a crazy weekend with moving, hopefully I get around to it!
